Approximately two third of our body consist of water. So for the proper functioning of organs, adequate water is must. However, when the same water is consumed in the wrong way becomes the reason for the most shocking health issues like:

The sad part is 99% of the people are drinking water in the wrong way due to which they are unintentionally harming their body rather than getting benefits from the same.   • Drinking water Before & After Meals – This is the worst part. Because when we eat our meals our body’s temperature rises for better digestion and drinking water immediately after the meals instantly dilutes the gastric juices reducing the body’s ability to digest food. Hence the food is not able to get digest properly and it rots within the system. And when the food rots, the body fails to absorb the nutrients from it ultimately leading to problems like Bloating, Gas & Acidity. That is the reason why people are found complaining about not being able to remain healthy inspite of eating healthy.
  • Gulping Down the Water Its hard to believe, but the way water enters our body matters a lot. The function of water is to absorb nutrients and to remove the unwanted elements from the body. By drinking water too fast the body may not accept the water and it may shunt out through urine. Our stomach is acidic in nature whereas our mouth has saliva which is alkaline in nature which stabilizes the acid in stomach. When we gulp large amount of water, very less saliva gets absorbed in water, Hence saliva- the stabilizer cant reach our stomach in desired quantity resulting in acidic atmosphere in the stomach.   • Drinking Too Much WaterDon’t drink water forcefully even if you are not thirsty. Of course water is essential for hydration but excess of anything is harmful. Excess water amounts to dilution of salts and other electrolytes in our body. The major function of sodium is to balance the fluid in and around the cells. Dilution of sodium may amount to swelling as liquid moves from blood to inner of cells. In case if liquid enters your brain cells, it may be dangerous.
  • Drinking While Standing Now a days people drink water not just in a standing position, but also while walking, running & talking. While we drink water in standing position, our kidneys are unable to filter water properly & possibly our body can’t absorb the fluid properly .   • When, How Much & In Which Utensil you should drink water Whenever you feel thirsty, you should drink water. But the most preferable time to drink water is immediately after waking up. That is the time when you should never skip water as in the morning we have a lot of saliva and what saliva does is we know now. There should be gap of 40 minutes before the meal and 1.5 hours after the meal for drinking water. How Much water to drink depends from individual’s body need, physical work and climate. Normally 2.5 to 3 litres a day is considered best. From Which Utensils – Water can be consumed in any utensils. But if you drink in copper vessel, the benefits get multiplied. Keep water overnight in copper vessel and drink immediately after waking up. It is the best time. Drink this water for 3 months and see the magic.
